This is my synth-based anthem cover of the song by singer/songwriter Danny Schmidt. This version is an earlier draft from 2018, mostly from a whirlwind month when I was trying to get as much done before my trial of Ableton Live ended. Me on vocals, synth/loops. Many thanks to not_on_display for the arrangement idea and feedback through multiple iterations. My most melody-driven piece thus far. I'm not totally happy with it, but I got tired of tweaking things. I have several other half-finished music projects I want to work on, so it was nice push this out the door.
Perhaps my most "complete" song yet. A five-minute ambient / glitch backbeat punctuated by percussion.

I love evolving a feeling or a story out of feedback. This uses the free DFX Transverb plug with Ableton Live, where I set up various send channels to feed on and eventually destroy each other.
