Ringfinger (by Nine Inch Nails)
This was my submission to a project in which various artists covered songs from Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine using at least one circuit bent or modified instrument (Soundcloud link). This one uses a reklus-modified Korg DDD1 and Monotribe (along with a sweet ring modulator he built).
I'll Be Your Mirror
Short and sweet; a more structured offering, as well. [more inside]
Zillion (cover)
Zillion was a game for the Sega Master System. This is a song from the game (which you can see/hear here -- this song starts about 17 seconds in). I have, however, added lyrics, which are about the game's lack of a save function. With 77 tracks of tiny instruments, this song is probably my grandest musical venture yet. [more inside]
Colonel Roger (is a Soldier from the Future (is a Cover))
I know this song has been uploaded right at the very end (if not shortly beyond) of the MeFi Music Challenge, but I went through a number of songs in the long debate to find a MeFite's song to cover, eventually landing on the one that most frequently gets stuck in my head. That song is Colonel Roger (is a Soldier from the Future) by chiefbluefeather. [more inside]
Happy Birthday, Mom!
This is a little song I put together for my mom's birthday a few days ago. Unfortunately, tuning was an issue, especially with all the untunables -- the toy piano, old keyboard w/dying batteries, and dollar store recorder. Well, I think it's still kinda fun, regardless.
Shipwrecked!
I wanted to make a song with a few of the instruments I rarely use, like the reed organ and toy piano. I thought about coming up with lyrics, but my hangover makes my brain feel ... not working so good. So I threw in some kazoo instead. Enjoy!
