Dr. L'Amour

A friend of mine had a terrible crush on her podiatrist, so I wrote a song about it.

It's a lo-fi-ish ditty that includes accordion, glochenspiel and my dad on tuba.

Fantastic. My favourite parts are the two little instrumental bits, one at the beginning and one at the end, that are absolutely inspired.

Thanks, everyone. I know the tune's scruffy (and scruffily recorded) but I was proud of my dad's playing, and the experiment with falsetto who-style backing vocals at the end.

I just forwarded this link to him, and it totally made his day.
