Colonel Roger (is a Soldier from the Future (is a Cover))

I know this song has been uploaded right at the very end (if not shortly beyond) of the MeFi Music Challenge, but I went through a number of songs in the long debate to find a MeFite's song to cover, eventually landing on the one that most frequently gets stuck in my head. That song is Colonel Roger (is a Soldier from the Future) by chiefbluefeather.

Although for quite some time I toyed with a cover of the wonderful snsranch's It's Summer (Go Outside and Play!). I still think I'll cover that, sometime.

Drat! 15 minutes late. Oh, well. I tried.

Also, just after uploading the song, my internet connection went down. I stepped outside for a cigarette, ended up in a discussion with my neighbor across the street, and headed over there for a little while. Both his cable and internet services were also not working. Therefore, I concluded that this song had broken the internet.

That's what I like to think, anyway.

I've been sending the link to "Colonel Roger" (original) all over the place. It absolutely was on my short list of cover-worthy tunes. Think I'll go bomb some more people out with it.

I'm glad you did this one -- I missed the original, and this is a great little tune. Your voice is perfect for it, too.
