Music Challenge for June

I'm going to be your moderator for June, and this month's subject will be: SONGS OF LOVE AND HATE.
Details inside, plus a description of how July's moderator will be chosen.
This month's challenge is to write a song of love, or hate, or love and hate, or hate disguised as love, or love disguised as hate, or... well, you get it. Special bonus points for artful combinations of the two.
Since we currently don't have a moderator for July, I'm going to do the following: at the end of the month I'll choose what I think was the most interesting (NB - NOT necessarily the best, but the most interesting) entry, and that person will be invited to suggest a topic for July and subsequently hand the baton on for August in a similar fashion.
If they don't wish to do that we'll figure out an alternate but hopefully we can get a proper relay going. If not, no harm no foul.

Great challenge, man. I've had a hankering to cover some Black Flag and D.R.I., ...great hate stuff. But I guess to sufficiently subvert them, I'd have to turn one into a really pretty folk sounding song.

unSane, just want to thank you for taking this on with such short notice. The shit hit the fan here at the ranch rendering me kind of unreliable, so I really appreciate it!
