Exit Interview

I posted a live version of this a few weeks back. We've recently started recording again, and we started with this, our newest song. This is an unfinished rough mix, but I'm really excited about it already.

Basic tracking was done in our little practice space in East Atlanta--luckily you can't hear all the other bands bleeding in through the walls. Tracked drums, guitar and bass all at once since the timing on this one is a little tricky to pull off in isolation. Went back, added some toy Yamaha keys and then did the vocals in my brother's (our drummer) basement.

Then he sends us this mix today, says he added some Rhodes to it out of curiosity. He's running the thing through a distortion pedal, a cheapo-Chinese fuzz octave and into a Sovtek Mig 100 and by the end, he's not banging on the keys, but the metal tines inside (!!!).

At any rate, I'm too overjoyed with how this is shaping up to keep it to myself. Enjoy!
