Tubular Balls
November 1, 2012 12:07 PM
A backing track for the November 2012 Challenge, namely the iconic piano riff from Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells Pt. 1.
150 BPM, key of Am.
The riff is three bars of 7/8 followed by one bar of 9/8, over and over and over and over again.
I put a click at the beginning to count you in. Please cut it out when you post your version.
There is a piano version of the score for the entire thing here, if you're interested. It's quite useful for figuring out chords and riffs and so on.
Remember: announce your instrument boldly, and the more and stranger the instrumentation the better.
