Jar Full Of People

November 22, 2016 1:12 PM

My entry for the November Challenge. It is not new, but it has been waiting for this challenge to finally have an appropriate home.

Lyrics:

You can find everyone
in a jar on the hill
if you look for the jar
full of people

Brilliant. Should be appropriated as the theme to the TV Series "JAR HILL" which I just envisioned (as animated by Gary Larson). I'm sure you could commission They Might Be Giants to perform it, but why bother; this is perfect. Short and sweet, silly and surreal. Thanks for making this.

I love this so much, it needs a nutso video to go with it and then to go viral.

Happy major key and then, pow...the visual. This manages to be charming and eerie at the same time. I especially like how well the backing vocal fits in.

I am looping this and just sort of cackling and struggling to breath in my chair right now. I sort of want to make a 12 second music video for it but I don't even know where to start.

This manages to be charming and eerie at the same time. I especially like how well the backing vocal fits in.

It's like a musical version of a Perry Bible Fellowship cartoon.

Is this not the new theme to the TV shoe "Under the Dome"?

This is the most Napalm Death thing I have heard in a long time. I heard it on the MeFiMusic podcast where greenish characterised it as "not quite the full minute" and literally laughed out loud with glee when I realised the silence at the end wasn't a dramatic break, but the end of the song.

Great stuff! Going back to listen to it again now.

Random, remarkable and repurposed as my new ringtone!
