This sounds terrific. I really like your transformation of the song. It totally sidesteps the "pop is dumb, this is better" that you can sometimes hear in acoustic home studio versions of mainstream tunes. It respects the first version, while finding interesting harmonies and a different kind of wistfulness through your guitar fretboard parallel positions and your voice. I really like it a lot.

Thanks umbu! Glad you caught on that it's not a joke. I just stumbled upon the melody writing my own song (which I'm about to post), so ran with it. It's a classic. I'd like to record a cleaner take soon.
