We'll Walk Far

A love song to my girlfriend and hiking. Banjolele, percussion, and whistling.

There's a kind of neat percussive kick-in at the end. It's probably off at a few points, but mostly it stays on. This is my third RPM song, and I'm leaving for a trip on Sunday, so I won't be able to finish this month, I'm afraid. But that's okay; just gonna pick it up again when I get back. First song I've written and recorded without guitar.

"No, no; that view's far from here."

But we've walked there, and whenever we'll walk again, we'll walk far.

"No, no; that view's far from here."

But oh, not you, dear.

Hm, maybe the percussion is more off than I thought. I think at first it's on, then speeds up too much, and then falls back into place. What do you think? Probably be worth rerecording that section.

That percussion is really up front, huh? It's definitely off in some way, though maybe the timing would matter less if the percussion was lower in volume?

The song is awful cute, though -- the whistling is pretty great. The percussion I have to think about.

The whistling is unbelievable, it sounds like a theremin or a saw. The percussion isn't quite there, no. If you ever rerecord it, I'd love to hear it.

grover's showing off! The banjolele is such a unique instrument. you do have rad whistling skills. your voice is sounding different like dan off deep blue sea-ish.
