Still on the horse, this time with a Beirut cover! This one took a lot longer, 3 nights of iPad work. Beirut usually has a lot of brass instruments, so this one was a real challenge, but I'm proud of how it came out.

Instrumentation was all done in the iPad Garageband App, no real instruments were played for this! Lots of piano, drums, bass, vocal, and the synth leads. I wanted to go for 3 synths that had the whole different sound / complimentary tambre that Beirut gets with the french horn / trombone / trumpet. Lots and lots of track doubling and stuff.

I was referencing more of the live version you can see here than the album version. Fun fun fun!
