Yea, the sound from the record is maddening after a bit, but it's still cool.

When we turned the recorder on, I asked Tom to play as if he were "representing all human kind" in its first encounter with an extraterrestrial human kind. That he was our spokesperson.

The sound responded accordingly.

BTW, I another human kind does not need to be homo sapien-like in my book. Another human kind could look like squids or dolphins as long as we can communicate as like kinds. FYI.

I moved beyond specieism some time ago in my personal definition of human.
