Water Rising

July 1, 2007 6:01 PM - played 1 time

Going electric for the first MeFi music challenge. Enjoy. (By the way, everything I know about beatboxing, I learned from Tom Waits.)

There is a distinct possibility that this is the greatest thing I've ever heard!

Ha! This is really great. Tom Waitsy is right. The execution really works—I went for a similar sort of noise-rhythm song a while back with less full and compelling results.

DOOD! What TWR said. So what inspired this, buriednexttoyou?

This might require a "batshitinsane" tag, but wholly in a good way. Way to rock the "water" challenge!

What inspired this? Well, I laid down all the music in the morning, but I got stuck coming up with lyrics, so later I was walking the dog and thinking about the Pyramid Song by Radiohead and how much I like the word "Pyramid" and I tied that into the water theme and, you know, civilization versus nature, blah blah blah, water keeps rising.

Anyway, glad you guys like it. It's always fun to yell and stuff.

Very cool, man, once again. You should join me in the tomwaitsy tag. I'm sure it could keep growing. Actually, I remember someone else posted a Tom Waits cover. Lemme check that.

Yeah, there was. I actually changed it to the tomwaits where there's already a bunch of people. Join us, yeah?
