My good buddy Rob wanted to write a pirate song for Talk Like a Pirate Day, and needed some pirates for backup vocals. As many of you know, I just happen to be a pirate, so I enlisted my crew and we came to his aid. It was a match made in heaven, and this is the result. "Hoist the Jolly Roget's" tells the story of a hapless songwriter forced to compose a song for a shipful of violent pirates, with only one reference book of questionable use to help him. Enjoy, me hearties!
