Ballad of Josh Millard's Oddly Sized Stationery

December 29, 2007 8:47 AM

More or less self explanatory, eh?

This song documents Meatbomb's never ending quest to view a variety of Josh Millard's oddly sized office supplies.

It still needs a banjo accompaniment, which I expect cortex to get on stat.

LYRICS

Mr. Millard, show me your big cassette
'Cuz you know, that I ain't seen it yet
And I'm dyin' to see
Is it as big as they all tell me
So Mr. Millard, show me your big cassette

Mr. Millard, show me your tiny book
'Cuz I'm dyin' just to get me one little look
And you know that it just ain't fair
You're showing people when I'm not there
So Mr. Millard, show me your tiny book

(bridge)

Mr. Millard, show me your little pen
'Cuz you promised me that you'd show me way back when
But every time that I try to peek
You treat me like I'm some kind of a freak
So Mr. Millard, show me your little pen

Bravo, sir.

However, it's not MILL-erd, it's mih-LARD. But I get that a lot.

Yeah, but then it would have fucked up the meter, and you know how picky I am about that kind of thing Josh.

8 for execution (reminds me of Captain Beefheart's "The Dust Blows Forward..." with less clicking), 1 for pronunciation. Would dance to it again!

on preview: dammit millerd, you beat me to it.

Yeah, great execution. I'm a bit surprised no one has taken it and 'instrumented' it yet. Must have been the holidays.
