I took a second crack at this not-a-love-song from my 2002 collection "Same As It Never Was."

I wrote and recorded a bunch of songs in 2001-2002, and this was one of the less-embarrassing ones. I re-recorded it this weekend for S&Gs and thought I'd share it. I'm not super-excited about the mix (or the vocal performance, for that matter), but I've got to put this one to bed for now.

Also, watch your volume knob. I squashed it pretty hard, but it still gets a little louder halfway through.

Nice. At first, I thought to myself--wait a second, this is uncleozzy. Where's the rock? The power pop stylings? And then, satisfyingly, they arrived. I especially like the harmonies on the refrain.

fantastic guitar tones--nice crisp delivery and tone on the lead line. i really need to go back and check out more of your stuff now...
