I really dig this riff. It's not as heavy, but it makes me think of something the Gone Jackals might have done for Full Throttle.

Hi. I like this better than the version you posted recently. But I didn't want to say so in the other thread, for fear of raining on the parade...

The tempo fits the riff better here, and I also prefer this vocal for being a bit more honest and straightforward.

Thanks. I really like this song, but we've had a hard time doing it as a band. The riff is a bit simpler in the new version, because it just wasn't coming together when I played it like this. It was better for us to strip it down and rock it more, though we did end up too fast that day. I got into an argument with my drummer to get that third take, and I was still kind of pissed. I start the song, so the tempo is on me.

Yvonne has always had a hard time singing this one. Maybe it isn't a good range for her, I'm not sure. She was nervous about doing it, and probably overcompensated some for that. But I love that she had the guts to go for it.

I didn't really have time to think about anything when I was doing RPM, I was just trying to get everything done. I didn't have any choice except to sing it straightforward. :)
