I am a demon and will swallow your soul!

July 9, 2006 8:06 AM - played 8 times

My band, the Christian Science Monitors, will be playing it's last show on the 16th of July in Montreal. We recorded a few songs that we were pretty happy with, and will eventually finish an EP. Let me know what you think.

Are you the lead singer? I'm totally digging the voice.

Yep. I play the guitar(s) as well. Thanks!

I like this. Kind of laid back and a little creepy. I really like the instrumental stuff as well.

Y'all sorta sound like The Doors. Getting a distinct Queen of the Highway vibe on this song.

I don't know that song sciurus, I'll be sure to check it out.

The lyrics come from refusing to write a song about unrequeted love and instead writing about unrequeted death.

I can't believe I just wrote an artist's statement.

Another good HiFi track.

I'm kinda feeling on a Doors-meets-early-Smiths thing. Which I like it a lot.

That's a nice recording, well done.
Parts remind me of The Passenger by Iggy Pop.

Yeah, I get that "The Passenger" vibe, too. This is awesome!

Oh, like this a lot. Nice work. Your (?) voice has that great "thrum" to it. (I don't know the crazy technical music terms!)
