I really like the jaunty edge on this cover. I won't say it's 'upbeat', but it's certainly a little more cheerful. Great stuff.

I was listening to it without paying attention to the lyrics until I got to the part that says "It only took my little fingers to blow you away". That line caught my attention because it sounded a bit "hesitant", or more emotional, perhaps. It stood out, in any case, and that made me look for the lyrics. What lyrics. Then I looked up the original. Oh, wow, the original was reggaeish? I like your version even more now.

This ROCKS, chococat. This is one of my very favorite songs ever, and you've more than done it justice. Your intro is great, making great use of one of the best bass lines (or maybe just really low guitar?) ever. I'm happy you left the little organ line in there after the "got no heart" part.

Oh my goodness, the line "Though it nearly took a miracle to get you to stay/It only took my little fingers to blow you away" is amazing. Thanks for pointing that out micayetoca so I'd look up the lyrics.

Nice job, once again chococat. I like the funny ending note.

This is simply beautiful. I had to pass this around to some people. Also, seconded on keeping in the small organ part, and thirded on the delivery of the "It only took my little fingers to blow you away" line.
