In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
January 30, 2009 3:39 PM
Cover of the classic Neutral Milk Hotel track, recorded with a band. The three of us are writers by trade, so we're calling ourselves "Evil and Wow!" (get it? get it??)
On the track...
Dave H.: bass, percussive cooler
Dave L.: lead electric, back of acoustic guitar
Rob R.: xylophone, noise production, rhythm guitar, vocals
Recorded in one session, so forgive the pops n' cracks. Hope you enjoy it!

There's so much turning happy songs into sad ones here at MeFi that it's nice to hear the reverse. Not that the original is really sad, but I mean tone-wise, is all.
I secretly think this song is everyone's favorite song in the world.

Heh, this is pretty sweet. I'm going to assume that you wink and point at me as you're singing this.

From my memory, this is making a run at being the most covered song on MuFi, but just behind You Are My Sunshine . This is a real nice twist. I agree completely with what Karlos and ORthey said.
