Friday

A song mostly written on a Friday.

Like everything else I write. It's really repetitive and puts you into a whole different type of atmosphere. I'm considering maybe making it shorter or adding more.

What do you think, hive mind?

I think it goes really well with the chilly wind that is blowing tonight. I don't think it needs to be shorter, though, it doesn't get boring and it does go through different variations. If it's a matter of voting, I vote for leaving it as it is.

It is long, but I think it develops at a nice pace.

In fact, just as I was thinking that I'd like that main 6-note riff to go away for awhile -- there it went.

And it doesn't come back in that same voice, which I expected, but in a much subtler one -- bold move.
