SvenskaLujah

An accordion based tribute to a Swedish broken heart. very rough audacity+headset recording.

A silly early morning joke turned into afternoon makeshift recording session. the microphone here is the snapped off head of a VOIP headset, and that's really a shame given the quality of the accordion.

Also Lyrics:

I heard there was a secret chord
That David played as he crossed the fjord
But you don’t really care for Sweden do ya
You went to town to visit Bjorn
I played for you on my Alpine horn
But every note I blew was Svenskalujah

Svenskalujah etc…

You don’t love me anymore
You crushed me with the hammer of Thor
I think that I never really knew ya
You tied me to an Ikea chair
And pulled a come through my flaxen hair
And every breath you drew was Svenskalujah

Svenskalujah etc…

I made for you my favorite dish
10 different kinds of salted fish
The elk meat and the crème fresh overthrew ya
You hung your pennant on Asgard high
And I’m the one who’s asking why
And Odin’s crows that flew were Svenskalujah!

Svenskalujah etc…

This is so, so sweet. Understated brilliance.

I really enjoyed this one, good for anyone with a Swedish wing of the family.

It's actually spelt Crème fraîche, but otherwise fantastic. I suppose spelling doesn't matter much when you're singing it and pronouncing it correctly.

You do not post songs nearly enough, sir. This has such a sweet, sweet lo-fi feeling to it, like the back up singers are sitting around the kitchen table. So nice.

Next, do "Dansen Går På Svinsta Skär"!

Ha, I was caught by surprise with the chorus. This is a lot of fun.
