Cover of a Lucinda Williams song recorded in a bathroom with an I-phone.

Technology causes insomnia.

Hey friend—I like this. And I'd always thought of Lucinda Williams as just someone in my mom's CD collection, but maybe I'll give her another go.

I'm pretty impressed at the sound quality you got from an iPhone. I've recorded in my bathroom before, too... small room with nice acoustics. Very smooth guitar playing on this one.

Have you heard the Tom Petty version?

Oh no I hadn't. i just listened to it tho and mine is clearly about 100 better.

My guitar's 20 years old and perennially out of tune so you have to play with a matchbook.

iPhone just came out with a 4track simulator, so beware the flood of emo im about to pour into this poor website, which clearly needs a delete button.

Yea, this is really good. You know I can really hear the timbre of your voice, it's sounds great, and the guitar doesn't sound bad either. Sweet!

I don't think I've heard this song, but it's a great one, and a great voice. A good combo with that strum style. This is a very fine recording. I love that quality you can only get by recording in a unique place. That four track iPhone feature sounds pretty exciting, so please post those results!
