If you didn't care for our treatment of Femme Fatale (via askmeaboutloom), may we interest you in something more, possibly femme, or, I don't know, fatale?
Pheatherwäit - eponymous vocals
Timbill (askmeaboutLOOM) - percussion
Tréteque (yours truly) - synthesizer

I fucking love this to bits! Now this is what I call a real "version" - not a copy or a straight cover. It's a gen-u-wine 100%-proof abstraction from the original idea. Heady stuff. WOW!!

This may sound a little over the top, but lately I've been very happy and excited about finding some really great art both here in MeFi Music and in meatspace. This is definitely one of those things. Good show and I DIG IT!

Sounds like some bowed cymbal action in there, but is that actually synth, or what?
Great stuff, and love the narration.

we'd be all over bowed cymbal if askmeaboutLOOM hadn't stepped on it a few weeks back. it's some weird synth pad on my QSR.

In case anyone cares, the percussion set was bongos, a bamboo-frame footstool with suede cushion, a couch (love seat), cymbal with sizzle, and cowbell, all struck with broomsticks.
The synthesizer was a Casio AZ-1 keytar controller and an Alesis QSR synthesizer, the vocals were run through Digital Delay and Low Frequency Amplitude Modulation. Success!
