***HE'S A MAN***

A fish with a mission crawls out of the ocean
On shore leave, orders carbon fizz
A million years he waited for this moment,
Now he thinks, therefore, he thinks he is.

Cause he's a man, he's a real man,
Stands upright, any way he can,
He does the hokey pokey, the bunny hop too,
Fall in line, there's a place for you

A visit to the jungle left a deep impression
A postmodern Tarzan with a Teflon knife
Now he's loaded down with questions for the science teacher
Ready to clone all the primitive life.

Cause he's a man, he's a real man,
Lives in Brooklyn or the Yucatan,
He likes to ride in a Cadillac
Went to the moon, but came right back.

It's really not a philosophical puzzle,
It's just a simple story of matter over mind
Of tax-free municipals and natural selection
Come and join the dance or you'll get left behind.

Cause he's a man, he's your main man,
Thinks he's the product of a master plan,
Come on along, there's plenty of space,
That chimpanzee is saving your place

Here, Zippy! Nice roller skates!

Love this. Even though I'm a man. But, hey, I don't live in Brooklyn or the Yucatan or drive a Cadillac and I haven't been to the moon....well not lately. So that makes me ok, right?

Seriously - great, sly vocal. Nicely arranged and recorded - an uncluttered, effective mix. Very intersting lyric. Job's a good 'un as we say over here. Well done Dmelanogaster!

Lovely indeed. Are you the one singing? that's a really nice voice, it's not hard to picture it singing in Combustible Edison-esque songs.
