NECROPOLIS
January 21, 2010 12:58 PM
A 90bpm Metal instrumental
Recorded on an Ibanez Gi0 6 string, a Fender Squire 4 string bass, an M-Audio Axiom49 controller for the pads and supporting ambient noise, All going through a Behringer Xenyx2442FX Mixer.
Recorded through Cool Edit Pro 2.1.
Chain effects through Pro-Tools and Acid Pro 7.0.
Mastered in Har-Bal
Imagine your in a crowd of people, all dressed in black following a horse drawn funeral carriage. A dark gloomy day, not raining but looks like a storm is brewing. As you walk slowly down the dirt road in the middle of nowhere you approach a cemetery.
In New Orleans we call it a Jazz Funeral.
In my music, I call it a Death March.
Here we gather to send our loved ones into the NECROPOLIS.
Have a safe journey.

It was a chance I know but I just wanted to bring the jazz funeral march into the metal age. So I took a risk. Im pretty proud of the drum recordings to Major Dundee thanks brotha.
