Collaborative track composed by Dan West (London-based bass trombonist and generally awesome dude). Looking for feedback!
Starting working on this tune last summer when I was in London visiting my good buddy Dan (who is now very casually on tour playing bass trombone for These New Puritans, the monster) - he came up with the initial guitar groove and I sampled some silly electro drums (note the Quincy Jones - esque triplet tom fills). This is the latest version that he sent to me, and asked if I knew any good forums or blogs that would be good for feedback - so, feel free to unload your thoughts on us! There's a sax breakdown near the end that I find pretty delightful...
