cat attorney

this song was written awhile ago for the opening credits to "Cat Attorney" a dramedy featuring goneill's cat. Unfortunately, the pilot was passed on by every major network, and even a few cable channels. yes, i was unemployed when i wrote this. also: had the flu. trivia: Lars Von Trier was supposedly interested in directing an episode.

Awesome! A couple of questions:

1. Is the pilot available anywhere?
2. Did Cat Attorney wear a tiny three piece suit?

Jeff Pee, the pilot's director probably has the original footage kicking around. I had a tape copy somewhere but I haven't seen it since I moved back to Sacramento. I don't think the cat wore clothes in the pilot -- from what I heard, the writers thought it would take away from the cat's "feline essence" or some other bullshit.

I don't know a heck of a lot about it, because I wasn't around for the filming or anything.

FWIW, they were going to re-record the song with actual musicians, so there's some solace in knowing that my poor rendition didn't cause the show's failure.
