Music Challenge for April
March 31, 2011 4:12 PM
The challenge for this month comes from minifigs and it's to make the ultimate distillation of a band or artists work. minifig's example was the Beach Boys because they have so many signature sounds that would be even more awesome if compiled into one song.
Good luck everybody!
Boo Yah to everyone who participated in the last challenge. They were really great to listen too, and while this isn't a competition, I wish sometimes that I could send out prizes!

Man, I hope I have time for this; it's right up my alley.

This seems pretty tricky, but I guess that's the point. Thanks for the post, snsranch.

Um, I just noticed that the music challenge page hasn't been updated with this month's challenge.

This one looks as though it'll mostly necessitate a sampling approach, I suppose. Or else, if one were to do, say, the Beach Boys, as mentioned, one better have some serious harmony vox skillz! It'll be interesting to see what folks come up with.
