Old Rockin' Chair

Here's a gentle tune for a lazy weekend – my own rendition of the great Hoagy Carmichael's classic tune. It's my first actual recording since I've moved to my new place - this features me on guitar, accordion, vocals, and trumpet. I've actually gotten a little better at the trumpet part, I think.

One of these days I need to get a piano, though.

You have some lovely tremolos on the trumpet koeselitz, i have a suspicion if you play softly on the trumpet, you will come across sounding really professional and soulful. That sounds like a nylon spanish guitar? What ever it is, man make sure you tune that thing 100 times before you record, your chords are spot on and nice and jazzy but if they are slightly off, it annoys the hell out of me. Probably best to tune to the accordian tbh because that may be a smidge up or down. Agree with dubold, vox is lovely.

Keep up good work man :)
