between the stars

This is a "finished" version of a track I posted earlier.
From an upcoming album by The Harvey Girls (melissa may and I's band). You can stream the album at our soundcloud page if you so desire. The choral parts were done by some friends when I asked them to just sing into their phones or computers--including Corduroy! And my mom (no, that's not a MeFi member)! I've been putting off making music for awhile* and since this is coming out soon, I thought I'd share.
Oh, and here's a video I put together from some found footage.
*Mainly because I've gotten into making effects pedals, which has taken most of my free time this year. But I'm really enjoying it.
Words: There is a darkness between the stars holding your absence. In answer to your question breathe in and let it go. Release it completely and fully. Remember the white moth beating its wings against the window last night trying to escape from the dark, the eyes on its wings blinking at the light. Remember the dead's messages on their stones. Knock down a spider's large web that floats in your way so that it will know not to build to build there again. It will, of course, you can be assured of this. Think of the living's messages upon the dead's stones. (Your absence, your essence.)
