I thought it was picking up noise from the HD, but yeah, lots of HF whine there.

Thanks for listening. Not sure about the mic, I guess it is all the slamming of the laptop screen (which the mic is above) when I close the computer. It might be picking up the HD, but I think it is crying out in pain.
