The Ballad of Boo Radley

My sister had to put her beloved cat, Boo Radley, to sleep. He was a wonderful cat and companion. not_on_display and I wrote a song in honor of him. We both did the lyrics and n_o_d did the uke part.

Boo Radley you magnificent cat
sometimes you're thin sometimes you're fat
lay yourself down on a heated mat
Look dignified in a santa hat

Boo Radley what'd you do today?
I stepped into the creme brule
Even though Kate said no way
Just in time for mom's birthday

Boo Radley with your fur of buff
We'll make some balls out of all your fluff
If the kitties give you guff
You growl at them and that's enough

Boo Radley plays the reindeer game
It's possible he has no shame
If there are cats in the hall of fame
They'd have to include Boo Radley's name

Boo Radley has the pinkest paws
He'll eat up all your snacks because
Cats don't live by human laws
Outlaw kitty eats cheese and moths

Boo Radley he just can't be dissed
I hope that you all get the jist
His legacy can't be dismissed
Boo Radley you will sure be missed

I listened before reading the lyrics and totally lost it at the crème brûlée line. Fantastic.

That was really sweat. We lost both our cats within a year, in fact I'm looking at a little box with Jasper's ashes in them right now. My condolences to your sister.
