Letterbox

October 16, 2014 10:14 PM

A stripped-down version (accordion and vocals) of the They Might Be Giants obscurity, for the Flood project.

(NB: I know pretty much nada about recording.)

Makes it sound like an old folk tune, which is really cool.

This is excellent. I love when the harmony starts; for me, Letterbox is one of those songs (like Dead and Your Racist Friend) that's really all about the harmony. But I enjoy your solo version too, because it makes me think about the song in a new way.

Anyway, excellent voice and splendid rendition!

This is great! It does feel kind of like a sea chanty or folk song this way. Love the harmony part.

I love this. Absolutely beautiful and a whole lot of fun. And I really like your voice -- reminds me of David Byrne.
