I AM NOT A BOT - a message to Twitter

March 2, 2015 2:03 AM

Some very special guests appear here, helping me to explain the little problem I am having at the moment with social networking site Twitter. This is the audio portion of a video, which may be viewed here at YouTube.

Nice to see you back in the music section, flaps. I like your take on Suffragette City. Was there a jaw harp in there? Good luck with the twits at Twitter.

Thanks, Johnny Wallflower. This is the first thing I've posted to Music in a good while, due to extreme dissatisfaction with some mod action a while back. As a result of that, I became very disenchanted with the Music subsite. I decided to stop posting my music here. This little thing, though, I figured, sure, why not. Aside from the Suffragette City excerpt, it's not even music...

As for Suffragette City, I did post that here at MeFiMu originally: it was for a David Bowie cover Challenge. You can hear it in its entirety here.

Yeah, I remember why you stopped posting, and I agree you had reason to be upset. I was disappointed that none of the mods responded [insert obligatory "did you use the contact form"]. This section seems to be getting a little more attention on the podcast lately, which is nice to see.

I cannot believe any bot would have that cool Alabama accent. Ipso facto, you must be human.

[after watching the video] Esmeralda certainly is a fine-looking woman. Did she get her hair at the Dixie Wigs place?

I believe we first met Ms Kaminski at the Royal Oaks in Youngstown.

Nice to see her getting a head in her career.
