SFXjam (live improv)

This is a wacky one. Skip to about the 3min mark for the really silly part.
So I recently started playing bass in this band that does loop-based improvisations in a "world music" sort of aesthetic, i.e. incorporating the African kora, a synthesizer, and lots of hand percussion. It's very exploratory and last weekend I found out just how exploratory it was.
We have a bi-weekly gig at this bar downtown doing background music, and they literally let us do whatever. Like, I've had some pretty low-maintenance wallpaper gigs over the years, for sure, but this is next-level.
It gets to the point that buddy is on the synth & he starts randomly cycling through the "SFX" patch bank until he finally settles on what I'm pretty sure is "seagull", makes a loop on it, and then starts doing a melody using the "car driving by" sound, and I can't even remember what else.
One of the better live recordings I've been involved in, overall.
