Sinking In

I was really very tired when I wrote and sang this. This is one of my more danceable numbers, although the subject matter is rather dour. I was trying not to wallow.

All my stuff is on Spotify, so if you enjoy my stuff, feel free to add yourself to my 1-figure number of recent listeners. (I'm also on other streaming services! Listen to my music anywhere!)

Very nice! I like the vocals a lot. Any chance you can provide the lyrics?

Thanks mpark. Sure, here are the lyrics:

we veered off the road to wisdom
built our own absurdist kingdom
gliding through the middle of our lives
you could knock me off my rocker
hide all of my favorite socks or
ask me to admit what's on my mind

sinking in
I'm losing access to everything
accepting is a kind of power
it's over my shoulders
it's taking over
I'll see you on the other side

your best work remains unpublished
don't know if you'll make it public
I'm still here to catch you if you fall
I shouldn't be laughing but lately
you know I'm barely sleeping
don't mind me if I throw in the towel

sinking in
I'm losing access to everything
accepting is a kind of power
it's over my shoulders
it's taking over
I'll see you on the other side
