A bad omens country song with my lowest drawly early morning vocals ever and a cool slippery guitar riff in the chorus.
I don't usually write country songs, but I like this one. I've been noodling this mix for like a year, and it's so close, but I just keep making it sound different kinds of the same amount of good.
If you've heard any of my other songs and vocals, you'll know how far out this is for me. The only other time I've tried to get low like this was for my cover of Road Movie to Berlin for the TMBG Flood tribute album. I think this is more successful, but it's definitely not in my usual register. Let me know what you think!
