Dream noise, made via granular synthesis.

I used a field recording provided by the field recording of a rainy day in Bijilo in Gambia by Michael Lilley for the Music for Sleep compilation.

This.... kinda scared me but in a good way. It would fit in well with a bout of sleep paralysis. I liked the sudden changes in the texture of the noise.

That part of the transition into sleep where the subconscious takes the wheel but the conscious hasn't let go can be really creepy sometimes!

This reminds me of the sounds I hear from a washing machine outside of the rhythmic agitation stages (and that final spin stage, which can whir itself up into a pounding fury in an unbalanced load -- look, I really enjoy the soundscape of a full washing machine cycle). I like this quite a bit.

Same. More washing machine field recordings for all!
