I made this a while ago...it's a simple loop with beats and "chords" created from Mac system sounds (pre-OSX). It would be awesome if someone did something with it.

Continuing with my beat-oriented theme of late. Autechre-like, but they're still 1,000 times better than I am. This one's noisy and glitchy, just the way I like it.

Sloppy simplistic cheerful beat from way back, with some recycled sounds (2:06).

A currently-instrumental hip hop beat in progress. I've been trying to remix this song for a long time, and this is the best I've managed to come up with so far. [more inside]

I've just discovered Buzz. I had heard of it before, but never tried it; I moved straight from traditional trackers to Fruity Loops / Audiomulch. But now I think I'm hooked, and this is my first effort in it, a bleepy little beat.

Some light-stepping chilled out beats, inspired by the Portishead mix linked by isopraxis, and sampling a bar or two of Holst's "Jupiter".

I think this is a pretty fun riff/song. Using a piano, loop pedal, and recording on my laptop
Critique the hell out of it, as usual. (And, yes, I'm technically no pianist.)
Any suggestions about how to 'flesh it out' would be welcome, too!

A track built upon Oswaldian traditions, cutting up German minimalist electronic samples with a bit of piano from the Romantic era.

A chunkier, clunkier version of Ohming with a coolcat intro thrown in, just for laughs. Hey, why not?

Remember MODs? Trackers? I still like to compose in them sometimes - it can be fun to work within the constraints of the format, and see how much music you can fit in a tiny file. The source file for this glitchy track comes in at 58k.

(4:12) In our quest to bring you the lowest in lo-fidelity recordings, this track was recorded over a cell phone, originally for livejournal. Just for fun, I've converted it from a low bitrate .ogg to a low bitrate .mp3. It's not easy on the ears, but then, that's not what Worse Than Pop is about.
This is a little closer to my true sound, though it's not really a full-fledged beatbox. It'll have to do for now. Entirely improvised, just some random beats, and yes, a few slipups (they're meant to be endearing). Hopefully, this will inspire better efforts in the genre to be uploaded to HiFi.

Everybody seems to think it's so important that you have to grab for money all the time. Seems to be the main goal in everybody's life.

This track is part 2 of a 23 minute mega mash up with a steady beat and some obscure samples. When I played this set live, I was happy to see people breakin' to it. Cool! http://www.albertoforero.com
