The goal was to record a simple arrangement that was different from the more lively covers out there -- to borrow billiebee's phrase, a gentler version. This is an old song, not written for the mefi music challenge water theme, but the lyrics kind of fit, so I decided to upload it. I actually wrote this waltz about having a cold, but it sounds very "oceanic."
A quiet little sea shanty. Unless you turn up the volume, at which point it becomes a thunderingly loud sea shanty. It's good for when you need to psych yourself up to go hunt the whale-fishes.
