A song about staying up later than you should.

You did it again. Really nice song, I really like your acoustic, bluesy style.

Some time ago there was an FPP on blues singers, and there was a link to the Mississipi John Hurt museum's site, which had an mp3 section for songs that people covered and sent to them. There was this song and the guitar playing of your song reminded me of that. Hope you like it.

Thanks about the song. I kind of remember that post, and you're right about John Hurt, I have a great memory of finding a double album by him at a flea market in CA and thinking it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen, and listening to it over and over and over as any 14 year is inclined to do w/ a new record.

I always thought it was funny that I heard him as an older/slower player and then finally bought the stuff from the 30's and heard how fast he could play.

I really admire anyone who play older styles and keep the integrity while making it new again. That's you. Great song man.

I like songs where I can't tell if it's new or if it was written seventy years ago. It's yours, right? 'Cause this song rules.

Oh, jeez, that keyboard frickin' kills me. It's so simple yet so totally unexpected that it's very nearly transcendent.

My girl and I both really liked this song. I'm a huge fan of that style, and you play it effortlessly and with gorgeous emotion. Thanks for posting this!
