The Pool Across the Street

A song about love and breaking into pools at midnight.

This was based on a sample of water drums (the “Water drums Zaire 2” track from over here) that I removed from most of the song, but left a bit in the beginning for good measure. The wonderful nickyskye did a great post on water drums and other instruments last year, in case you were wondering.

There’s a few bum notes, but I’m leaving them in for posterity’s sake. That and I’m lazy.

Really nice song, sleepy pete. Your voice is perfect for these acoustic, slow paced songs.

I'm glad Music posts never close. It's 3:33 in the morning, and I'm awake and listening to you sing even though you sleep beside me. Thank you for one of most beautiful songs you ever wrote for me, or that anyone ever sang.
