Don't Worry 'Bout It

This is about the dumbest piece of dumbness ever. I was goofing around on my 7 and 9 year old daughters' keyboard and noticed the "Clav" setting. Ha! I discovered that if I put it through the Crybaby Wah pedal and then through the tube amp that it actually DIDN'T SOUND AT ALL like Songs in the Key of Life-era Stevie Wonder. Instead it sounded like me acting stupid and then I sang some high-assed background vocals like a fucking idiot and did my whitest ever white-guy impersonation at the beginning.
But it makes me laugh and it's my kids' favourite, go figure.

Perfect start-the-day-in-a-good-mood song. I love the high-assed background vocals.

More power to ya. Why is it always the things we think are the dumbest that people like the most?
I have one on a cassette somewhere that I wrote at, like, 1am trying to be quiet so I wouldn't wake up my roommates, and recorded the vocal one line at a time (hitting pause in between to think of the next line to sing.) It was terrible to me, but everybody else loved it.
Needless to say, I loved this. Totally putting it in my collection.

For some reason, every time I hear this song (favorites podcast) I can see my little brother in his blue corduroy overalls bouncing up and down in his playpen all smiley happy. That would be a major flashback of about 35 years.
I'm working my way through your playlist tonight, it's bringing me much enjoyment. Thanks.
