A groovy little bluegrass-inspired solo acoustic guitar number.

Arrigato, f@m. I've been writing alot, actually, for my band and my next record - I'll post those once they've been properly recorded. In the meantime, I've rediscovered a bunch of stuff that I had been meaning to post all along, so stay tuned!

I liked it a lot, too, and I too was glad to see another song from you posted. And you know, about those new ones you are doing, it's none of my business, I know, but it would be cool to also get to hear some of your home recorded stuff. The production of your record was fantastic, but this has a charm of its own. Don't be shy to post early versions (and, I gotta admit, your 'early versions' are better recorded than my better ones!)
How did things go with the last record? You got to tour a bit as well, didn't you?

Thanks for all the kind words, micayetoca! I wasn't able to tour for my last record, unfortunately. I "released" it (ie, made it available, here and elsewhere) around late December '06. I gave myself through June to do everything I could to promote it - this included getting it on various radio stations (terrestrial and online), in podcasts, reviewed, etc. You can see a list of my progress at my website, www.alecberlin.com. It was an amazing experience - I learned SO much about radio promotion, online radio, and other parts of the music world that were completely foreign to me.
I also gigged infrequently but regularly in Manhattan. More impressively (to me, anyway), I managed to keep the same bunch of extremely talented and busy musicians in my band the entire time - in fact, we have a gig tomorrow, Mon 11/5, at ye olde Bitter End, so any NYC Mefites should come by at around 9:30 if they are interested.
Thanks a million for your interest about the new material, let me think on it...

Funny title, too. Any Italian bakeries left in Boerum Hill, BTW?
