You'll Never Know, Dear

This may be the most covered song on MuFi.

It's a cover of You are my Sunshine, though I've titled mine You'll Never Know, Dear because that's my favorite line. I first stumbled upon Sreiny's cover, and then on cortex's. They're both really great, but Sreiny's really lets the light in on how sad this song is. I've been telling everybody I know since then that this is the saddest song ever.

The tune is a little bit different and slower. I think the outro is quite pretty.

I didn't realize how many times this song had been done on MuFi.

I like your take on it. What chord progressions were you using?

It's just variations on C and G, with the capo on the 7th fret.

Thank you all for listening!
