Lucky's Song

Won't someone think of the children? And techno? ...wiggle wiggle wiggle... (NSFW: one word @ 2'53")

"Lucky The Ladybug" (not his real name) was the cute animated character for a series of children's instructional videos I worked on. I overlay some of Lucky's lines and outtakes. This song went over surprisingly well at Burning Man.

"Lucky" was already in use, so the character got a similar replacement name. But he's still a labybug, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is how this is a children's song about a bug. Or a children's song by a bug. Or a children's bug in a song.

Nice. Not many tracks work equally well with the less-than-ten crowd and at Burning Man.

Strikes me as kind of sinister. The voice reminds me of the guy who follows Bruce Willis around in Twelve Monkeys, maybe that's why. Great addition to the bug set.

Now I will always think of the children and techno.
