Sort of a pathological sibling rivalry. Not autobiographical.

OK, here's the thing. I'm tired of coming here right before I go to bed and having to hear your great songs. Can you remind me to listen to the songs on music earlier in the day? Maybe? Also, mom hates you. Well, my mom doesn't hate you. She doesn't know you. She only hates people she knows. I'll send her your e-mail and ask her to let me know how it works out.
(great song and great production, as usual. jan murray, I'd say that bass sound is a keyboard--i'm thinking it's a korg, but i could be wrong.)

This is excellent: great feel, warm sound, relaxed delivery. Plus delicious juxtaposition of friendly and sprightly music personality with the twisted and dark psychological subject matter of the lyrics.
Kudos, chococat!

Great, and some different instrumental/compositional stuff that I really liked. You get snaps.

I heard this song on the album that Chococat/bgm sent me (which you should order RIGHT NOW if you haven't already. The album is the best collection of indie songs that I've heard in a long, long time) and I laughed out loud.
Sounds even better in the car with the volume cranked up. Everyone's head was bobbing along :)

Ya, it's an analog synth. Moog Little Phatty to be exact.
jan, it's just me. Yes, they're drums.

I'm catching up with the songs that have been posted recently and I just realized I didn't comment on this one when I heard it. As always, very nice. And a great addition to the "sweet hatred-themed ballads" (started by The Room at the End of the Hall).
Reading the comments..."the album that Chococat/bgm sent me"?
I want one of those!

Yes, you should all buy music from chococat. If you are lucky, he will include strange Canadian candies. Great song.

Is that your brother on backing vocal? Or you?
Tell me Mr. Cat how do you do it? Are you a band?
Or are those drums a machine? And that basey thing that comes in 00:23 and sounds like a tuba almost.
I'm asking cos I've just bought a Zoom H4 to record stuff. I have to learn Cubase I guess.
Perhaps all these questions should be on Askmefi.
Anyway I löved it.
& sorry for referring to you as from the States
