Immigrant Song

Cover of a song made popular by Dionne Warwick, I think.

This is the second in what I'm hoping will be an albums worth of shitty covers by my band, Los Muchachos Mexicanos. I'm trying to stick as close to the original as I can in terms of tempo and arrangement and on top of generally shitty playing, I'm trying to change one or two minor things that make the songs distinctly different. With this song I tried moving the main vocals down one octave.

Ha! That was fuckin' fun. I was half expecting you hear your version of Friends to play next.

Wow, that's awful. In a good way. Again. "Nice" work. (No, really.)

Awesome. This is what I'm trying to accomplish by sticking to the original tempo and arrangement as closely as possible.

This is hilariously deadpan suckage.

Wait--

I think the vocals are actually a full two octaves lower!

For those that can't the vocals, I made another mix where I twisted some knobs.
