Black Dog, Friendly Dog

As requested by Karlos The Jackal.
At first I thought "Oh, a one minute song, that should be easy", then it turned out it wasn't. I tried many approaches and nothing felt right, so in the end I tried to sound as far from what I normally sound like as I could.
The drums were released under a CC license by a very kind fellow over at ccMixter, the rest of the stuff was recorded on acoustic guitar (plus voice and claps). And I tried to respect the free "spirit" of the original, which really is one of a kind.

And, you know, it's still weirdly catchy.

You are awfully kind, Karlos. I thought it was unlistenable yesterday when I posted it, and I think it's pretty terrible this morning. The thing is, in order to be faithful to the original in some respect, I decided to press record on every track and just record it through: these are all first takes and nothing was rehearsed or "tried" before recording. I kinda feel that's what the Tinklers did on the original.
The only one thing I didn't keep is the original voice track I recorded. It was sort of a Kiedisesque track, rapping the lyrics. I don't know what is it that he does to pull it off, but it sounds great when he does it, and it sounded terrible when I did it.

This is like a cool exotica lounge version!
Ha ha, it's very near to unrecognizable as both the Tinklers song and as a micayetoca song! I like the way you used the song as an excuse to experiment with something you wouldn't nomally do; I think that's an excellent plan.
